过去半年来Over the past half-year,尤其是这一个月以来and particularly the past month,抗战形势和从前是完全不同的our war of resistance has changed utterly.

过去我们是单独奋斗Before, our was a solitary struggle在国境以内within our own country.

抵抗日寇against the Japanese invaders.

现在我们已经和英美苏联Today, we have joined Great Britain, the United States,与其它各友邦and Soviet Union安危一致and other friendly nations并肩作战in fighting side by side来彻底的消灭人类的公敌to rid the world of our common enemies.
