本片的主人公威尔,拥有惊人天赋,是一个难得的天才。却因为悲惨的童年带来的影响。。从开始的打架闹事,对很多人都带刺,还叛逆的说性爱,通过这些来装饰自己。在放荡和堕落中逃避真实的生活,面对伤痕累累的过去,他选择了逃避;面对地位悬殊的爱情,他同样选择了逃避。他始终固守着内心的防线,每每用嘲笑、讽刺的态度对待他人,终究不过是内心的一种防御措施。
幸运的威尔:因为偷偷解答数学题,遇到了惜才爱才的数学教授,遇到了善良有能力的心灵创伤治愈专家帮助他找到了人生方向。

影片将重头戏放在了西恩对威尔的治疗过程,并将威尔的内心世界挖掘得细致而深入,层层剖析他的童年经历和性格形成过程,并最终将一个身处在绝望边缘的天才拉了回来。

很好,真的很好,有一句台词,让我映像深刻,“不是你的错,不是你的错,不是你的错,不是你的错,不是你的错。”第一句的时候还在想什么意思,第二句,第三句,我就明白了,很简单的话语,但却又直入人心,心理防线瞬间被攻破,那样的温暖,那样的让人想哭。

他的兄弟也是好兄弟,那么的义气,支持,和鼓励。他的爱人也是一样,知道他的不敢面对,隐瞒和自卑,同样也鼓励他面对,还不变的爱着这个男孩。

在影片的最后,看到威尔驾驶着朋友的二手汽车行驶在高速公路上,前方等待着他的是未知的世界和充满变数的爱情。我相信,无论未来等待他的是什么,威尔已经拥有与生活真诚相待的勇气了。
这部影片剧情展开是比较舒缓的,但情感流露是非常真实的,且恰到好处。将威尔的亲情、友情和爱情叙述地一览无余,可圈可点,虽然缺失了美好的童年,但却在花样之年收获了友情,伯乐爱情和人生目标,所以老天是公平的,失之东隅,收之桑榆。无论美与丑,好与坏,随心就好,真实就好。

village where the rebels were hiding
and fifteen hundred people I never had

in the Marines to secure the area"
'cause they don't give a shit. It
won't be their kid over there, gettin'
shot. Just like it wasn't them when
their number got called, 'cause they
were pullin' a tour in the National
Guard. It'll be some guy from Southie
takin' shrapnel in the ass. And he
comes home to find that the plant he
used to work at got exported to the
country he just got back from.
And the guy who put the shrapnel in
his ass got his old job, 'cause he'll

Meanwhile my buddy from Southie realizes
the only reason he was over there was
so we could install a government that
would sell us oil at a good price.
And of course the oil companies used
the skirmish to scare up oil prices so
they could turn a quick buck. A cute,
little ancillary benefit for them but
it ain't helping my buddy at two-fifty
a gallon. And naturally they're takin'
their sweet time bringin' the oil back
and maybe even took the liberty of
hiring an alcoholic skipper who likes
to drink seven and sevens and play
slalom with the icebergs and it ain't
too long 'til he hits one, spills the
oil, and kills all the sea-life in the
North Atlantic. So my buddy's out of
work and he can't afford to drive so
he's got to walk to the job interviews
which sucks 'cause the shrapnel in his
ass is givin' him chronic hemorrhoids.
And meanwhile he's starvin' 'cause every
time he tries to get a bite to eat the
only blue-plate special they're servin'
is North Atlantic scrod with Quaker State.
